SEO, AEO and GEO Resources
Practical guides, frameworks, research and observations covering technical SEO, information architecture, content strategy, semantic SEO, entity SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation.
This is where I document what I know, what I am testing and what I am learning as search continues to evolve.
Practical Resources for Modern Search
Search optimisation now extends across traditional organic search, answer-driven experiences and generative search.
The technology is changing, but many of the underlying questions remain familiar.
Can search systems discover the content?
Can they understand what it is about?
Does the page satisfy the user’s intent?
Is the information structured logically?
Are important entities and relationships clear?
Can important claims be supported?
Does the website provide information worth retrieving, referencing or citing?
The resources in this section explore those questions across SEO, AEO and GEO.

SEO Research and Experiments
Search contains uncertainty.
Algorithm changes, new search features and rapidly developing generative systems mean that some questions cannot be answered reliably through established best practices alone.
Where appropriate, I document experiments and observations.
These may include:
- Search result changes.
- Indexation experiments.
- Internal linking tests.
- Content structure experiments.
- AEO observations.
- AI search prompt testing.
- Citation observations.
- Entity representation.
- Source selection.
- Differences between generative search systems.
I distinguish between observed results, working hypotheses and established practice.
An experiment is evidence about a specific test. It is not automatically a universal SEO rule.
SEO Fundamentals and Emerging Search
I do not treat emerging search optimisation as a reason to abandon established SEO principles.
Technical accessibility still matters.
Search intent still matters.
Information architecture still matters.
Useful content still matters.
Entities and context still matter.
Evidence and authority still matter.
AEO and GEO add new environments in which those foundations can influence visibility.
The purpose of this resource library is therefore not to replace SEO with the latest terminology.
It is to understand which principles remain durable, what is genuinely changing and how search optimisation should adapt when the evidence supports it.
From Knowledge to Application
Resources explain concepts and methodologies.
If you want to see how I apply them, the rest of my portfolio provides two different levels of evidence.

Keep Exploring Search
Search will continue to change.
My goal with this resource library is to document the methods that remain useful, investigate the areas that are changing and separate measurable search practice from assumptions and hype.
Start with the topic most relevant to the problem you are trying to solve.
